Friday Randoms 5/27/11

• I only have a little over a month left of this pregnancy and I'm so excited! I know it's easier to keep the baby inside of you than to take care of them once they are born, but I am so done being pregnant. My back hurts, my stomach muscles hurt, my hips hurt, I can't sleep, my allergies are out of control, it's harder to interact with Colton, I'm cranky, whine, whine whine.....
• Colton still likes to talk to Baby Sister, tickle her, sing her songs, etc. and his latest is that he likes to look at her through my belly button to see what she's doing. He tells me all sorts of interesting things. For example, this morning he told me that she was reading a book. What an intelligent fetus! 
• We've been house hunting for quite a few months now and had a bid accepted on a house nearby but we backed out this week because there was extensive water damage and the bank (it was a foreclosure) wasn't willing to help out on the costs to fix it. So we started looking again and found another house that I like even better (another foreclosure) and we'll hear next week if we got it or not. Crossing our fingers! I know there's now way I'll be moved out before this baby is born but it would be nice to know that we do have a house to move into shortly after she's born.
• Colton is getting better and better with the whole potty training thing, but it has been such a slow process! He's mastered peeing but we're struggling with pooing. He's not scared to do it, it's just a stubbornness thing. We've tried the sticker chart and bribing him with candy, so we're trying a new tactic: I bought a bunch of toys and put them in a basket. When he goes poo once, he gets to pick out a toy. Then when he goes twice he gets another, then three times another, etc. He REALLY wants those toys and I have to remind him 100 times a day about how he can get them but it seems to be working so far.
